I'm honestly shocked at how good these are. I don't know what "expensive" binoculars are like, but I can't imagine they're much better than these! These are crystal clear. Not super heavy. The magnification is awesome. I use them to bird watch and they're perfect! I'm very happy with the purchase!
Great binoculars for a good price. That being said, they are not the heavy, ground glass type of binoculars you might be used to. They are light weight but have a very clear lens and do a great job. The power of the optical quality versus the cost makes it a good buy. If your looking for a high quality glass binoculars, at 20x50, get out the money. They will cost $300-500 more.
